Cold Water Pressure Washers

Choosing the best pressure washer for you starts with a simple question: hot or cold? A cold water pressure washer is commonly used for most pressure washing jobs. You can think of a cold water pressure washer as a mechanical scraper that removes dirt, grime or paint from a surface. Instead of a metal blade like you would see on a handheld paint scraper, a pressure washer uses a high volume of water to get better results with less manual effort. Pressure washer nozzles control the flow of water, creating more or less PSI (pounds per square inch). Some cleaning jobs require more force (PSI) and others require less. It depends on the surface to be cleaned and what substance needs to be removed. As a commercial pressure washer, cold water systems are extremely effective for most jobs. By contrast, a hot water pressure washer has some more specific applications, like sanitizing areas that might hold bacteria.
